Who am I?
My name is Patrik and I’m a 30 year old wildlife photographer from a town called Norrtälje in Sweden. I picked up this hobby after I came home from a trip to Bali where I had been diving for the first time in my life. I realized that I wanted to capture wildlife pictures after seeing sea turtles and manta rays up close.
I bought my first camera in March 2020 and I was instantly hooked. Mostly I learned about photography through dozens of youtube tutorials, photography websites and through trial and error. And the photography part is only half of it since I am doing wildlife photography. It’s crucial that you learn about the animals that you wish to capture.
The most important thing to me is to never disturb the animals, the best pictures are the ones where the animal doesn’t even know that you were there.
